Age Concern Woking is a local, independent charity whose aim is to give FREE support to older people in the Borough. The charity’s mission is to promote the well-being of older people by offering:
We aim to treat our clients as we would treat members of our own family.
Established in 2004, Age Concern Woking has received financial support from Woking Borough Council, local businesses, the Community Foundation for Surrey and private sources. In addition, our own fundraising activities and donations from individuals help us to maintain our services to the older citizens of the Borough.
We are in constant need of funds to enable us to maintain our activities. If you would like to help us, please go to the ‘Donating’ page for details. Our office is currently based at the Moorcroft Centre, Old School Place, Westfield, Woking.
We are open every weekday morning from 10am to 1pm and at other times by appointment, or we are happy to make a home visit if this is more convenient. You can also call us on 01483 770753 at any time and we will return your call as soon as possible. We check to see if any messages have been left frequently and an emergency number is given in case your call is urgent.
